Putting the final touches on the Crime Prevention Conference in preparation for its launch.

The preparatory and scientific committees for the Annual Crime Prevention Conference held their final meeting as part of the preparations for the conference, setting July 10th and 11th as the dates for its commencement. Unanimous approval was given, based on the last recommendations of the preparatory committee, following the presentation of conference details attended by faculty members Dr. Anas Baira and Dr. Jaziya Shuiteer, along with the media center at Benghazi University. The conference theme is “Towards a Safe Society and a Stable State,” focusing on discussing the causes of crime and ways to mitigate its effects. Benghazi University will participate actively in the scientific, preparatory, and media committees of the conference. According to the organizers, the conference has received local acceptance from Libyan cities participating in it, including Tobruk, Sirte, Al-Marqab, Benghazi, Tripoli, and Tarhuna, in addition to significant Arab research participation from the Omani capital, Muscat.
