The official published version of Volume 39 of the “Journal of Studies in Economics and Commerce” has been released. This journal, published by the Faculty of Economics at the University of Benghazi (Garyounis), is one of the oldest and most prestigious peer-reviewed Arab economic journals. The issue contains only five articles and studies, including a peer-reviewed academic article by the center’s director, Dr. Anas Abu Bakr Ba’ira. His article combines fields of political science, public administration, discourse and narrative analysis (media and sociology), and the literature on economic reforms in developing countries issued by the World Bank (WB).
The title of Dr. Ba’ira’s research is: “Recent Trends in Political Economy: Discourse and Narrative Analysis in the Attempt to Manage Economic Reforms Announced in Libya for the Period (2003-2010) – Lessons for the Future and the Transitional Phase.”
Additionally, the issue includes a specialized article in the field of public administration by Dr. Ayad Taher Bin Ismail, Supervisor of Graduate Studies in the Public Administration Department at the Faculty of Economics, titled: “The Role of Theory in Public Administration Research.”
