Activities of the Fourth Scientific Session of the Crime Prevention Conference – Part One

The fourth scientific session of the Annual National Conference on Crime Prevention was held on Sunday, July 11, 2021, chaired by Brigadier Khaled Haider. The session was divided into two parts:

**Part One** included four scientific research presentations and a specialized professional intervention:

– “Cybercrimes – Theoretical Framework” by Professor Mona Rajab Al-Shaari.
– “Wars and Their Impact on the Spread of Crime Among Youth” by researchers Professor Asmaa Hussein Al-Aqeeli from Benghazi University and Professor Aisha Mohamed Al-Tawerghi from Tripoli University.
– “Cybercrimes” by Dr. Jumaa Shneib from Al-Merqib University.
– “The Effects of Economic Crimes on Financial and Economic Institutions in Libya” by Professor Asmaa Al-Hassi from the Faculty of Economics at Benghazi University and Dr. Khaled Al-Kadiki.
– A specialized professional intervention on cybercrimes by Dr. Saad Al-Bouri Al-Madani.

**Part Two** featured professional presentations from state institutions involved in crime prevention:

– The Civil Status Authority presented on crimes and violations related to Libyan identity.
– Preliminary results of a survey on electronic blackmail in the city of Benghazi.
– Various statistics and indicators related to crime prevention, which will be detailed in a subsequent publication of the scientific sessions with images and detailed indicators.
