The Director of the Center for Public Administration and Institutional Development presented a peer-reviewed scientific research paper, accepted by the scientific committee without modifications, at the symposium on “Research Centers and Their Role in Decision-Making.” This event was organized by the University of Benghazi through its prestigious Research and Consultation Center. The paper, presented during the second scientific session chaired by Dr. Awad Bodlal, head of the University’s Engineering Research Office, was titled: “Research Centers in Libya: Exploring Research Support for Public Policy Decision-Making in Libyan Government Administration at the National Planning Level from 2003 to 2020.” The paper relied on exploring reports from the General Planning Council to analyze the Council’s stance on studies from government and university research centers regarding public policy decision-making. A broad discussion followed, attended by graduate students from the Public Administration Department.
Many thanks and appreciation to the Research and Consultation Center and its preparatory and scientific committees for the elegant and superb organization of this outstanding scientific symposium.
