International Cooperation:
According to the regulations governing the center, the center is permitted to enter into international cooperation agreements in the fields of research, consultancy, and governmental training, subject to the approval of Benghazi University’s council. Therefore, the center is currently focusing on studying opportunities for international cooperation with institutional development and public administration entities regionally and internationally.
Efforts have already begun with the center’s staff collaborating with some international organizations. This collaboration was evident in the recent contribution of the center’s director to the upcoming international report by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) on Local Governance & Stability in Libya. The contribution involved providing qualitative data on the topic, with the hope of opening broader avenues for cooperation in the field of local administration with the UNDP and other international organizations concerned with institutional development in the future.
