Training Activities in Public Administration
The training activity at the center is considered an emerging activity in its initial stages. It could be further enhanced through a specialization granted to the center according to the approved bylaws of Benghazi University. This specialization allows the center to train government units in collaboration with professional bodies, particularly in providing academic and methodological foundations. Additionally, this specialization allows the center to conduct specialized training courses in the field of public administration and institutional development for related entities.
Although the training activity is still in its early stages, it has taken significant and unprecedented steps, even compared to longer-established training centers and institutes. One notable achievement is the organization of the pioneering governmental training program for financial controllers in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance of the previous Libyan government. This program was considered a significant advancement in the recommended local and international financial institutional reform, through consultations between the Ministry of Finance and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
As the center progresses in conducting training courses with government sectors, this page will provide details of the training programs for all sectors. This page will also present the center’s offerings in its courses, training portfolios, and internal training methodologies for governmental institutions and individuals, once they are prepared, along with the completion of the center’s permanent headquarters in the university campus in the Garyounis area.
