The Center for Public Administration and Institutional Development was established by a decision of the Benghazi University Council. The center aims to be a hub of research and consultancy emerging from Benghazi University. It seeks to assist various Libyan institutions, whether governmental or non-governmental, in developing public administration, streamlining decision-making processes, and benefiting from its work, activities, studies, consultations, and publications in the areas of public administrative reform, institutional development, and policy evaluation in various sectors and issues related to public administration in the state and society. It also conducts organizational impact assessments of laws, decisions, regulations, and state structures.
